This Privacy Policy explains how Aurisen Technologies ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in the DJCards mobile application (the "App"), a workplace attendance and HR management application for employees of organizations that use it. The App is intended for employees only and is not directed at children.
Account & identity: name, employee ID, email, department, role, and login credentials (passwords are stored hashed/encrypted, never in plain text).
Attendance & work data: check-in/check-out times, break times, shift, working hours, overtime, leave, half-day, and week-off records.
Location data (precise GPS): We collect your device's precise location only at the moment you tap Check In, Check Out, Start Break, or End Break, in order to verify you are physically at your office location (a geofence around the office coordinates). Location is used only while you are using the app (foreground only). We do not track your location in the background or at any other time.
Camera, photos, and face/biometric data: With your permission, the App uses the camera to capture a profile photo and a facial image used to verify your identity when you check in or out (biometric identity verification). This facial data is used solely for attendance verification. We do not sell it or share it for advertising.
Device information: basic device model, OS version, and app version, used for security and troubleshooting.
To create and secure your account; record attendance and calculate working hours and overtime; verify via GPS that attendance is performed at the office; verify identity via facial recognition; manage shifts and leave; and provide administrators of your organization with attendance reports. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your personal data.
The App requests your permission before accessing location and camera, and before capturing facial/biometric data. You may decline, but some features (such as attendance check-in) will not work without them.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with: your employer/organization administrators (for HR purposes), service providers who host the system on our behalf (under confidentiality), and where required by law. Facial/biometric data is not shared with third parties for any other purpose.
Data is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, passwords are hashed, and access is restricted to authorized personnel. We take reasonable measures to protect your data.
We retain your data while your account is active and as required for legitimate HR and legal purposes. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time: https://api.aurisen.co.in/hr-api/delete-account, or by emailing admin@aurisen.co.in. We delete your personal and facial/biometric data upon a valid request, except where retention is legally required.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and may withdraw camera/location permissions via your device settings. Contact admin@aurisen.co.in.
The App is a workplace tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above.
